Portland Metro Birth Doula
Bailey’s Approach to Doula Work
Bailey supports birth and postpartum with deep presence and embodied care, honoring the emotional, physical, and spiritual tides of new parenthood. Her approach centers on connection, safety, and attunement, creating space for clients to show up as they are, whether they need reassurance, encouragement, room to process big emotions, or simply a steady presence through uncertainty. Bailey meets each birth as it unfolds, supporting clients in feeling seen, respected, and connected to their own intuition.
She is passionate about making birth and postpartum care affirming and accessible, with particular experience and interest in supporting LGBTQIA+ families and neurodivergent clients. Bailey honors the many ways people experience their bodies, communicate, and navigate parenthood, approaching each family with curiosity and without assumptions about what their journey should look like.
Bailey’s Background
Bailey brings a wide range of life experiences to her doula work. She spent ten years as a professional nanny, including five years focused on infants and toddlers. For the past five years, Bailey has worked on small, community-oriented vegetable farms throughout the Pacific Northwest and in 2025 co-founded a flower and medicinal herb farm rooted in mutual aid, generosity, and play. Working with the land has taught her patience and respect for natural rhythms. Before farming, Bailey spent three years teaching elementary and middle school students in India, an experience that deepened her cultural awareness and respect for the many ways people and families grow, connect, and care for one another.
When she isn’t supporting families, Bailey can be found playing with flowers, cooking something delicious, or spending time with her cat, Moe, who is known for playing hide-and-seek in the marigolds with the neighborhood cats.
Bailey completed her birth doula training with Doula Love in September 2025 and graduated from its mentorship program in October 2026. She also completed her Oregon State Doula Certification.
