Meet Erin
Portland Metro Postpartum Doula
Erin’s Approach to Doula Work
The postpartum phase is profoundly sacred, and Erin is always honored to be welcomed into each family's home during this meaningful time. Having grown up with a mother who operated a daycare from their home, Erin developed a passion for helping others and supporting families from a young age.
Her approach combines intuition with evidence-based information, which motivated her to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Youth & Family Psychology. Recognizing her natural talent for working with families, this academic pursuit deepened her understanding of the unique dynamics within each family. It also shaped her commitment to providing judgment-free postpartum care and emphasizing the importance of nurturing the entire family during this significant period.
Before fully dedicating herself to postpartum work, Erin spent seven years as a professional nanny, which solidified her love for working with families. This experience enhanced her ability to intuitively assess needs, collaborate with parents, and approach every family unit with love, respect, and a grateful heart. Her presence exudes peace and calm, with a remarkable talent for finding joy and lightness in the many aspects of postpartum care.
