In Oregon we have Medicaid coverage for birth doula services. You must take a workshop that is OHA Approved workshop and apply to become a Medicaid Provider.
Attend an OHA Approved Birth Doula Workshop
Doula Love Workshops are OHA Approved.
Currently our Workshops are $875.00 for a 5 Day Workshop.
Complete Additional Training
At Least Six (6) Contact Hours of Cultural Competency *
At Least Four (4) Contact Hours of Trauma-Informed Care *
At Least One (1) Contact Hour of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) *
At Least One (1) Contact Hour of Inter-Professional Collaboration*
OHA-Approved Oral Health Training ( Free)
CPR Certification for Adults and Infants/Children ($50 to $100)
